The Muse Method
My signature approach to editorial portraiture.
Where the direction comes together
This is where we shape the session—clearly and intentionally.
We’ll start with a private concept call where we talk through mood, energy, references, and what you want your images to communicate. Not who you’re trying to become—but where you are right now, and how you want that reflected.
We’ll define:
The tone of the session
Lighting and texture
Wardrobe direction and styling notes
Location and overall feel
Nothing is random. Nothing is overdone.
Every choice is made to support a portrait experience that feels grounded, cinematic, and personal.
You bring what’s already there.
I shape the space around it.
This is where the session becomes clear—and where everything starts to feel real.
Before the Shoot
When you arrive, everything slows down.
There’s no outside noise to manage and nothing you need to switch on. The space is intentionally set so you can settle in and focus on what’s happening in the moment.
I guide the session fully—movement, posture, expression, and pacing—paying attention to subtle shifts rather than forcing anything. The way you hold tension. Where you soften. How stillness shows up for you.
This isn’t about chasing a look.
It’s about becoming present in your body.
The session is a space to explore range—quiet, intensity, softness, restraint, emotion. Nothing has to be polished. Nothing has to be forced.
We work with lighting, textured environments, and editorial framing to create images that feel cinematic and intentional as they’re happening.
It’s not about perfection or performance.
It’s about capturing a moment that feels honest and letting that be enough.
During the Shoot
Once the session ends, the work continues quietly behind the scenes.
I carefully review and curate the strongest images.
Each selected image is edited in my signature style:
intentional grain, dimensional contrast, balanced shadows and highlights, and cinematic color that feels textured and timeless.
When your gallery arrives, it isn’t meant to feel overwhelming or surreal. It’s meant to feel recognizable.
Like seeing yourself clearly, without distortion or performance.
These images aren’t just documentation of a session.
They’re moments you can return to—evidence of where you were, how you felt, and what you carried at that point in your life.
After the Shoot
Step Into the Muse.
Your experience starts the moment you decide to book.
No guesswork.
No pressure to know what you want yet.
Just a cinematic portrait experience built around you—your energy, your story, and where you are right now.
You’ll choose from three signature Muse Sessions, each designed to feel intentional, personal, and immersive. If you’re looking for something more flexible, à la carte options are available as well.

During our call, we’ll talk through mood, wardrobe, setting, and direction, so everything feels clear, aligned, and easy before you ever step in front of the camera.
You don’t need to arrive with a plan.
We’ll build it together.
P.S. There’s no perfect moment to do this.
Payment plans are available, and Afterpay is accepted—so you can move when it feels right.
